of San Gimignano, only 150 mt away from the main gate of the town: porta
S.Giovanni. The holiday flats are divided into two comfortable apartments with independent entrance, all fitted and furnished to very high standards. Each apartment has been recently remodelled, with great attention to detail and traditional style. |

On the ground floor of the house there is a very
luxurious and romantic apartment for two persons, a fully equipped kitchen,
dining room, a nice fire-place, an armchair, bedroom with artistical
iron bed, shower room with sink and w.c. The first floor has a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, spacious bedroom with a double bed, two single beds and the bathroom with bath, shower, sink and w.c. There is also a little balcony which enjoys a superb panorama of the country. Each apartment has heating, traditional terracotta tiled floors, beamed ceilings and a nice warm atmosphere. |

The building is situated in a beautiful green oasis of peace: a quiet and colourfull garden with many luxuriant plants, marvellous roses and the intense scent of jasmine. The prices are resonable. Those who decide to book more than six days, have the opportunity to visit the two farm houses situated in S.Benedetto with a panoramic view of Certaldo. This ancient medieval village, is the native country of the famuos writer Giovanni Boccaccio. A delightful and rustic village only 5 minutes drive from the towers of San Gimignano. |
| The owners, Donatella Rubicini and
her mother Maria are very friendly and helpful. They will give you
a very warm welcome and not intrude on your privacy. They will also offer
you the local products from the the splendid
countryside of the Chianti hills: Vernaccia of San Gimignano, Chianti colli
senesi, Grappa, Holy wine and Extra virgin Olive Oil. Maria will be happy to prepare a genuine Tuscan dinner for you. We are easily reached by train from Florence and we will be more than happy to pick you up at the train station in Certaldo. We are open all year and if you interested, you are most welcome to contact us directly, as soon as possible! Don't forget to visit also our farmhouse holydays. |
