PODERE ARCANGELO

In the very heart of Tuscany, famous for its culture, art and good wine, rests the farm Podere Arcangelo only 9 km away from the medieval town of San Gimignano. Surrounded by vineyards and olive groves the farm enjoys a beautiful panorama. Believed to have been originally built as a monastery and later used as a farmhouse Podere Arcangelo was eventually abandoned during the first half of this century. In 1993 the current owners restored the house paying careful respect to its architectural heritage as expressed in its terracotta floors, old arches and wooden beams. Being family run the farm enjoys a warm and friendly atmosphere. It offers bed and breakfast, each room with its own bathroom, and apartments for 2-8 persons are available for weekly rent. On the panoramic terrace it is possible to enjoy an evening meal of typical Tuscan cuisine prepared by Sig.ra Maria.
