The agriculture Farm “Il Castagnolino”
The agriculture Farm “Il Castagnolino” is located at only 2 Km from San Gimignano, on the ancient way “Via Francigena”. The rural building, lovingly restored, immersed in the olive trees, offers a wonderful view over the San Gimignano Towers and the Elsa valley. Our farm was built using environmentally friendly techniques and materials: heating and hot water provided by renewable energy, walls are painted with natural earth colors. In our agriculture farm we produce extra-virgin olive oil and organic saffron from San Gimignano – Protected Destination of Origin, we grow aromatic plants and the Certaldo Onion, a Slow Food Presidium.
For our guests we can arrange 6 comfortable rooms with wooden beams roof and tiled floors, with independent entrance on the garden. In the restaurant you can enjoy delicious breakfast and dinners with seasonal fresh products.

How to get here
From San Gimignano: Way to Gambassi, after about 1 Km fork for Pancole. After 0,400 km you can find on your right the entrance of the farm.
From Certaldo: Way to San Gimignano, at the second fork for Pancole (Pancole 2 Km), turn right direction San Gimignano, after 0,400 km you can find on your left the entrance of the farm.
