Poggiacolle farmhouse is situated at only 2 Kms away from San Gimignano, in the sorrounding hilly countryside, providing a truly magnificent panoramic view of the ancient towers of San Gimignano. The guest reception villa is a typical Tuscany countryside house with an 18th century dovecote tower, restored according to Tuscan tradition. Poggiacolle offers for the holidays of our guests apartments and rooms of various dimensions. All apartments are equipped with kitchens and are furnished in typical Tuscan country style. All rooms have private bath, shower, satellite TV and free WI-FI connection. Poggiacolle offers to our guests a wonderful swimming pool which overlooks the medieval towers of San Gimignano and which is located at only 20 meters away from the guest reception villa. Around the swimming pool our guests can find large green areas with chairs, tables , sun loungers and parasols. At Poggiacolle farmhouse is also possible to enjoy a picnic area with tables and benches in the nearby wood. Our guests can use mountain bikes, play table tennis and there is a small children fun area. At Poggiacolle there are several trekking paths. Poggiacolle farmhouse has always been pet-friendly, so pets (cat, dogs) are allowed.

THE TUSCAN FARM

According to typical Tuscan tradition , Poggiacolle farmhouse lies over two hills and farms vineyards and olives groves. The property measures about 35 hectares with its organically farmed produce. Poggiacolle Farmhouse produces Vernaccia di San Gimignano DOCG, Chianti Colli Senesi DOCG red wine, VinSanto Toscano and we produce also excellent extra virgin olive oil and saffron.

Poggiacolle farmhouse is in San Gimignano, in the heart of Tuscany, at only 25 Kms from Volterra, at 35 Kms from Siena, at 55 Kms from Florence, at 70 Kms from Pisa and Arezzo and at about 90 Kms from Lucca.
