The farm holiday Villino del Grillo is part of a little farm, managed by a family, settled in the centre of a property of about 4 hectares between the hills of San Gimignano, peaceful and quiet. In the year 2000 the family Pierantozzi decided to restore a small hayloft that was in their property. A few years later, with hard work and attention to detail, the family Pierantozzi transformed the hayloft in a small cosy house, full of little details that testify the love and the passion with which the members of the family have participated to the works. So, in the year 2004, the Villino del Grillo was born with its features, which make it very different from the other structures. Villino del Grillo is a place where the guests feel at their ease in the middle of a unique intimate atmosphere, as you can read in the sentences left in the guest book, a nest where you can find peace and quiet but also where you can participate in the typical activities of a small farm, yet attached to ancient traditions. The farm holiday Villino del Grillo is situated in one of the most beautiful landscape of Tuscany, in the heart of this noble land, the green and rustic hills of Chianti Colli Senesi and Vernaccia di San Gimignano. The farmhouse Villino del Grillo is framed between the beautiful San Gimignano towers and the Medieval village of Certaldo Alto (native place of the great poet Giovanni Boccaccio). The farm holiday Villino del Grillo consists of one apartment equipped with any comfort (cooker, fireplace, sat Tv, internet wi-fi, air conditioned, washing-machine, hair dryer, iron, ironing board, drying rack, toaster, microwave oven, coffee maker, barbercue, loungers, outdoor tables and chairs, mountain bikes). It is the ideal place for people who want to spend a holiday in absolute peace, completely surrounded by the San Gimignano countryside, even in winter. In the farm holiday the whole apartment, with its own heating system, air conditioning and Internet ADSL wi-fi LAN, has been furnished respecting the rustic Tuscan style, with the typical ceiling of Tuscan farmhouses made of cotto bricks and wood beams. The bedroom, with a double bed and in case a single bed or a cradle, has got a large bathroom with shower. From the living area it is possible to reach a big terrace that leads to a garden of about 60 square meters. It is completely hedged (exclusive use of the guests) and provided with table and chairs in shade zones. This is the ideal place to rest, far from the crowd, to read a book listening to the crickets chirping. The farm holiday Villino del Grillo is situated into the heart of Tuscany. It is easy, starting from here, to reach the most important cities: Firenze, Siena, Pisa, Lucca, Pistoia, Volterra, Arezzo.
