Our estate consists of apartments of small and medium dimensions and independent villas which can sleep up to 18 people; they are equipped with all the facilities and comfortably furnished according to the typical style of elegant country residences.
Torre di Larniano (650 mq) was constructed as a medieval defence tower over eight hundred years ago on Etruscan foundations. is a large and beautiful country home that is full of history and charm and sits, with three other medieval towers, at the centre of a two hundred acre farm estate producing wine and olive oil in the hills near San Gimignano. The interior, which is divided into two self-contained residences, bears lovely touches such as a glorious 17th century open fireplace, antique furnishings throughout and a reading room which occupies the entire top floor of the tower itself. The bedrooms and all four living areas overlook well kept lawns leading down to the swimming pool terrace, which is furnished with plenty of umbrellas and loungers.
Villa di Larniano is a very large 15th century farmhouse built around a thousand-year old Longobard lookout tower. The estate's vineyards produce a delicious white wine known as La Vernaccia, and its extensive olive groves the rich-tasting oil for which Tuscany is famed. The villa is furnished comfortably in an elegant country style with living areas overlooking a pretty, furnished courtyard and a well-kept garden. Sweeping lawns, often visited by hares and pheasants, lead to a clay tennis court and a large swimming pool with loungers and umbrellas.
Villa Il Caggio is a newly renovated farmhouse surrounded by vineyards and chestnut forests. The interiors of both the main house and its one-bedroom guest house are decorated in a traditional style, with the high, wood-beamed ceilings and the tiled terracotta floors that have kept Italian houses cool through centuries of hot summers. The bedrooms are beautifully finished, many of them with four-poster beds and all with thoroughly modern ensuite bathrooms. The fitted kitchen serves two indoor dining rooms as well as long table under a loggia in the garden, strategically positioned for the best views of Tuscany’s famous rolling hills. A large swimming pool lies between the two buildings, its stone terrace amply supplied with sun loungers and umbrellas.
