Francesca and Giuseppe Passoni acquired the Mormoraia Estate in 1980 with the desire to move to Tuscany and become viticulturists. In 1990 they decided to take the big step, undertaking a complete restoration of the estate and starting a "Farm tourism" business that has been classified as four-star.
