Poggio ai Cieli is a small, wine-producing holding of 10 hectares, situated in a hilly position at only 8 km from San Gimignano. It is an ideal place to pass a peaceful holiday in the countryside and it is an easy starting point to visit cities of art or to enjoy a walk in the charming natural surroundings.
The ancient farmhouse has been restored and subdivided into comfortable flats and rooms. Each flat is equipped with kitchen corner and all necessary utensils for cooking
Furthermore our guests profit from our agreements for special prices with a restaurant at only 2 km.
For your relaxation and entertainment various facilities such as the swimming pool, mountain bikes, table tennis, toys for the children and an educational nature trail which passes through the farmland are at your disposal.
In the recreation room, beside the television with satellite reception, you will find lots of tourist information and useful advices and reference material which are the result of our personal experience. Also a laundry, a large car park, a wood-burning oven and a barbecue is at your disposal.
It will be a pleasure for us to let you taste the products of our farm as for example our wine Vernaccia di San Gimignano and Chianti Colli senesi, our Vinsanto and extra-virgin olive oil.
