JUNE - SEPTEMBER:

" Accade d’ Estate":A series of performances and events including opera, theatre, ballet and classical concerts in Piazza del Duomo.
Organized by the Municipality of San Gimignano, Council for Cultural Affairs.

THIRD WEEK END OF JUNE

Ferie delle Messi: Historic Medieval Festival through the town's streets and squares with markets of medieval arts and crafts.
Storytellers, actors and musicians, medieval performances and competitions between the four contradas (tonw districts). During the Sunday afternoon: historical parade and horse tournament.
Organized by the Associazione Cavalieri di Santa Fina.

LAST SATURDAY OF JUNE

Nottilucente: the “white night” of San San Gimignano: from the evening till late at night, events, and various shows in the squares and streets of the town. Free entrance.

FIRST SUNDAY OF AUGUST

Festival of thanks from the citizens of San Gimignano to their Patron Saint: Saint Fina, born in 1283 at San Gimignano in a house located in a little lane which is named after the Saint. Liturgical ceremony in the Basilica of Santa Maria Assunta with the participation of the Municipal authorities

"Calici sotto le stelle": An open-air tasting of local wines with the participation of the local wine producers at the park of “La Rocca”.

Festival of  Sant’Agostino:  liturgical ceremony in the Church of Sant’Agostino.

Festival of the “Madonna di Pancole”
Liturgical ceremonies at the Sanctuary of Pancole (built in 1670), 6 Km far from San Gimignano. Food stands and fireworks.
