Torre Salvucci Maggiore

If you are looking for a memorable experience, this is the right place for you. With its 42 mt high, the Salvucci Tower is one of the famous towers of San Gimignano, the only one turned into a vertically-spread apartment divided into 11 floors, for a total of 143 steps. Each floor of the tower corresponds to a different and equipped room, making the accommodation a real vertical house. The stairs are steep and not too comfortable, however they undoubtedly contribute to creating that magical atmosphere that only those who stay here can experience. From the panoramic rooftop, you can admire sunrises, sunsets and starry skies, surrounded by the other towers that soar towards the sky and an incredibly unique view above San Gimignano. All guests can enjoy a delicious welcome basket with typical products. There is also free Wi-Fi working on the first and second floor of the tower.

DESCRIPTION OF THE 11 FLOORS: each floor doesn't exceed 12sqm
- 1st floor: bright kitchen with living room equipped with table and chairs
- 2nd floor: mezzanine with a glass coffee table and two small leather sofas
- 3rd floor: bathroom with shower, hairdryer
- 4th floor: pink design table with chairs
- 5th floor: two single bunk beds (each 80x190 cm)
- 6th floor: queen foldaway bed (120x190 cm)
- 7th floor: passage way floor, small bookshelf
- 8th floor: half bathroom (wc and sink)
- 9th floor: passage way steps
- 10th floor: a second kitchen just under the top floor (no table/chairs)
- 11th floor: panoramic rooftop equipped with table and chairs

USEFUL INFO: The tower does not have air conditioning, however, guests can benefit from some fans working with refrigerated air. Instead, there is centralized heating. The accommodation can host up to 3/4 people. Please Note: if you're looking for modern comforts or luxury, this is not the place for you, as well as if you suffer from claustrophobia or vertigo. The tower is not suitable for stays with children under 12. Pets are not allowed.
