Tenuta Sovestro Agriturismo e Winery

We are Alessia and Barbara Failli, born and raised in San Gimignano, descendants of a family that has run a restaurant and hotel for generations. In 2017, we realized our dream with the purchase of Tenuta Sovestro, an 18th-century farm where we created 16 en-suite rooms and began producing our own wine and extra virgin olive oil.

The estate is located less than 2 km from the historic center of San Gimignano and is a magical place, where the charm of the farmhouse and its history blend with the comfort of technologically equipped rooms.

For our guests, we have created a beautiful panoramic swimming pool, and just 70 meters from the property is the family restaurant "Da Pode," where you can savor Tuscan cuisine.

The 16 rooms (all with air-conditioned) were created in an old farmhouse, preserving its most characteristic features, such as the ancient exposed beams and stone walls.

The farmhouse enjoys a splendid view of the hills and is surrounded by the estate's vineyards and olive trees.

We produce seven wines (three reds, three whites, and one rosé) and extra virgin olive oil, which are available for purchase at the estate from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm.

Tastings of our wines can be booked daily from 12:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
